AFP Great Smoky Mountain Chapter

Welcome!

2023 Ten Star Gold Logo

The Ten Star Gold Great Smoky Mountain Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) provides networking and education opportunities for fundraisers and others who work in or support nonprofits in the Greater Knoxville area and its surrounding counties.

Nonprofits of all sizes are represented in our membership, which also includes consultants and other business professionals serving the nonprofit sector.

Our Chapter’s long tradition of collegiality is witnessed by our more than 25 years of collaborative success in hosting November’s National Philanthropy Day activities. Our local awards luncheon offers every area nonprofit an opportunity to celebrate and recognize its donors and volunteers.

2023 IDEA Designation LogoAFP Smoky Mountain Chapter is also one of the 98 chapters who earned the 2023 IDEA Champion Designation!

The IDEA Champion Designation recognizes those chapters who have accomplished many of the key objectives in our goal of advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA). Thank you to you and your chapter for its commitment to IDEA in the fundraising profession.
